And urgency washes over him.
 
‘’Is it too late?’’
 
He turns sharply. He needs to gaze her eyes again...
 
But the sun is strong.
 
And dread drowns him during his temporary blindness.
 
‘’Is she still near?’’
 
His momentary helplessness fades...
